The all new HELIX Z10 DSP is Helix's next-generation flagship multi-channel amplifier with DSP. It is not yet officially released yet but we are exited to share some initial specs which we learned during our visit to the EMMA Eurofinals event in Salzburg earlier in 2026. I spoke with Audiotech Fischer and held the Z10DSP in my own hands. And what a beast it will be!
- Channels: 10 Channel
- Built-in DSP: Yes
- Power RMS/ch @ 4Ω: 200W

Breaking — Audiotec Fischer's "Next Era"
Audiotec Fischer has just thrown down the gauntlet. After years of the HELIX DSP ULTRA S and RX2 series setting the benchmark, ATF's own teaser makes no secret of the ambition here — brushing off anyone who thought their existing flagships couldn't be topped with a simple "Hold my beverage." The HELIX Z TEN DSP and its stablemate, the HELIX NEXT DSP ULTRA XT, are being pitched as the start of a genuinely new era for HELIX processing and amplification — and we're tracking every detail as it lands.
Early previews position the Z TEN DSP's build and amplifier quality in the same league as the acclaimed Helix RX2 series. It's being announced alongside the HELIX NEXT DSP ULTRA XT — a companion flagship signal processor, coming September 2026 — as part of the same "next era" release from Audiotec Fischer.
What we know about the companion ULTRA XT (and what it tells us about the Z TEN DSP platform)
Audiotec Fischer hasn't published a standalone spec sheet for the Z TEN DSP yet, but the official page for its "next era" stablemate, the HELIX NEXT DSP ULTRA XT, is already live — and it gives a strong preview of the engineering the whole Z TEN DSP/ULTRA XT generation is built on:
- 16-channel, 12-input standalone DSP architecture — 8 x RCA plus 12 x Highlevel speaker inputs, 1 x Optical SPDIF, 1 x Coaxial SPDIF and 1 x USB-C with PerfectStream
- Dual 64-bit fixed-point processors running at 2 x 295 MHz for 2.4 billion MAC operations per second
- ESS Technology converters (ES9841Q ADC / ES9081Q DAC) — the same converter family referenced in the Z10 DSP's own preliminary specs above
- 128dB digital signal-to-noise ratio and THD+N as low as 0.0003%
- Electric-vehicle-ready 9.6–18V operating range, matching the Z10 DSP's own "EV Ready" preliminary spec
The ULTRA XT is already listed for pre-order in Europe at €2,199 (currently backordered, shipping as stock arrives), which gives a useful early signal on where Audiotec Fischer is positioning this whole "next era" range. The Z TEN DSP itself doesn't yet have an official product page, confirmed price or ship date from Audiotec Fischer or any authorised retailer — so treat every spec on this page as preliminary until ATF locks it in, exactly as we've said from the start.
Register your interest: This product hasn't been officially announced yet, so we're not taking orders or listing a price until Audiotec Fischer confirms final specs and Australian pricing. Want to be first in line the moment it's available? Get in touch and we'll notify you personally the moment genuine preorders open.
Audiotec Fischer's own announcement, introducing the Z-TEN DSP alongside the ULTRA XT:
Specifications of the new Helix Z10 DSP above are drawn from my discussions with ATF in Salzburg and cited in other sources including Helix's official teaser video and Peter Steinbacher's own words from the video below. We will confirm final channel/DSP specs, RRP and release date with Audiotec Fischer before enabling purchasing. Sign up to be the first to know!
