Every Integrated Audio upgrade package is designed to be genuinely plug and play — built for easy self-install, with no prior car audio experience needed. Here's what to expect before you order.
Plug and play, start to finish
Our packages use vehicle-specific harnesses that connect straight into your car's existing wiring — no cutting, no soldering, and no permanent modifications. Every factory feature stays exactly as it was: steering wheel controls, DAB, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and factory mic all keep working.
You don't need to know how to tune
Tuning is the part most people worry about — you don't need to. Every DSP amplifier we supply ships ready to run straight out of the box, with nothing you need to configure before you install it.
Built for your specific vehicle
Our upgrade kits are designed for specific vehicle models, not generic "universal fit" — that's what makes the plug and play harness possible in the first place. Always check you're ordering the kit built for your exact car and trim.
What to expect at each stage
- Stage 1 — Amplify: the quickest install. A DSP amp swap using the supplied plug-and-play harness — most owners are done in 1-2 hours with basic hand tools.
- Stage 2 — Add Bass: builds on Stage 1 with a subwoofer fitted in the boot or tray. Typically 2-3 hours.
- Stage 3 — Full Speaker Replacement: the most involved stage, replacing factory speakers with a full plug-and-play driver upgrade. This is where trim removal is needed — every Stage 3 package includes the trim removal tools required, so you're not left sourcing your own. Typically 3-5 hours.
Installation fees aren't included in the price
Our package pricing covers the hardware — it doesn't include a paid installation service. Most owners install their own kit using the guides and support we provide. If you'd rather have it fitted, you've got two options below.
Don't want to install it yourself?
Any car audio shop can install your upgrade kit — you're not locked into doing it yourself. Check our Installer Network for a list of authorised Match and Helix dealers across Australia who can fit it for you.
