The DSP Input Analog AKM is an analog input upgrade card for the BRAX DSP CORE, adding two further stereo inputs — switchable between RCA and high-level speaker connections — to the CORE's modular input bay. Where the base unit's built-in inputs cover the everyday cases, this card is for systems that need an extra analog source (a factory amp's high-level output, an aftermarket head unit, a second zone) converted with the same care as the rest of the signal chain: it's built around AKM's AK5572EN, a 32-bit Velvet Sound A/D converter, paired with a TI LME49720 dual op-amp. Like the other DSP CORE upgrade cards it's auto-detected by DSP PC-Tool once fitted, no manual configuration required.
