The DSP Input SPDIF is a digital input upgrade card for the BRAX DSP CORE, adding an optical and coaxial digital input pair so a digital source — an OEM digital bus, a transport, another processor's digital output — can feed the CORE without ever passing through an analog stage. It complements the CORE's single built-in SPDIF input for systems that need more than one digital source, or that want a dedicated digital input separate from the CORE's shared default. As with the other CORE upgrade cards, DSP PC-Tool (v4.42a or later) detects it automatically once fitted.
