The BRAX IPC 1.000.000 μF is a 1-farad power capacitor for high-current amplifier installations, designed to buffer the electrical system against the voltage sag that heavy bass transients pull from the alternator and wiring. "Intelligent" refers to its onboard monitoring and protection circuitry — a digital voltmeter and a 7-LED power display give a continuous read on charge state and system voltage, rather than the bare terminals and single LED found on basic capacitors, and it includes reverse-polarity protection with its own readout, over-voltage protection, constant-current charge control and vibration protection. Pair it with a BRAX CAP Holder Set 75 for a secure, vibration-resistant mount.
