The HELIX BT HD STREAMER is a stand-alone Bluetooth® retrofit for any DSP or DSP amplifier with an optical digital input — no HEC or Extension Card slot required. It streams wireless audio at up to 24-bit/48kHz using Qualcomm® aptX™ HD, with aptX™, AAC and SBC codec support for full cross-platform compatibility, and passes the signal straight through its optical SPDIF output for lossless digital processing. Add the HELIX BT HD Handsfree Microphone Kit for hands-free calling without touching your head unit.

If your DSP already has a HEC or Extension Card 2.0 slot, an internal Bluetooth card — the HELIX HEC BT HD or the Extension Card 2.0 BT HD (HELIX & MATCH) — is usually the tidier option. The BT HD STREAMER is for systems without a spare slot, or for adding Bluetooth to a DSP that doesn't support an extension card at all.
