Extension Card 2.0 – DIGITAL IN is the current-generation digital input module for any HELIX or MATCH DSP with an Extension Card 2.0 slot, adding an optical and a coaxial SPDIF input that the DSP reads natively in the digital domain — no conversion loss between source and processor. It automatically detects and switches to whichever input carries an active digital signal, with manual override available in DSP PC-Tool, and is the digital counterpart to the Extension Card 2.0 ANALOG IN for systems that need to add a digital rather than analog source. For processors using the earlier HEC slot format, see the equivalent HEC digital input cards instead.
