HELIX HEC HD USB - HD-Audio USB-Interface Extends Helix Devices

The HELIX HEC HD USB is an extension card that adds a high-resolution USB audio input to a compatible HELIX DSP fitted with an HEC extension slot, turning a laptop, PC or phone into a direct digital source for the processor. The connection is digital and asynchronous, with its own clock generators to minimise jitter, so audio passes from source to DSP without an analog conversion step in between. It works across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, with two operating modes: a driver-free Full Speed mode up to 96 kHz, and a High Speed mode up to 192 kHz that needs a Windows driver for full performance.
