The HELIX CAP 1000 is a 1,000,000µF power capacitor for stiffening a high-current amplifier installation. Bass transients ask an amplifier to draw a large burst of current for a very short time, and if the alternator and wiring run can't keep pace, the supply rail sags and the low end briefly loses punch and control; wired close to the amplifier, CAP 1000 supplies that burst locally instead of relying on the full length of power wire back to the battery. Its large capacity and low internal resistance let it dump current quickly and recharge fast between hits, which matters more than raw capacitance for keeping bass tight rather than just present.
