Because the Model X's touchscreen, amplifier and DSP are one sealed factory system with no accessible pre-amp output, this package taps the signal at speaker level, downstream of Tesla's own amplifier — the same approach used across the industry for current Tesla platforms. Every stage keeps 100% of your factory features — touchscreen, Autopilot, Sentry Mode — completely intact.
