On the fly DSP control while you're driving is only as good as the interface you actually get to reach while driving. If your car audio system relies on a menu buried three taps deep on the head unit, or a bare knob with no idea what it's actually set to, you're not really in control of it. That's the gap dash-mounted remote controllers like Cuore One are built to close.
What Cuore One actually is
Cuore One is a third-party DSP controller from damn good audio (DGA), built for Audiotec Fischer's current ACO-platform DSPs — HELIX, BRAX and MATCH. It's a 47mm dash-mounted dial with a 1.3" display, a rotary encoder with gesture shortcuts, and real-time voltage monitoring most remotes in this category don't offer at all. Full specs are on the product listing.
It isn't the only option — Audiotec Fischer sells its own official Conductor, Conductor Pro and Director remotes for the same DSPs. We've laid out exactly how they compare in our Cuore One vs Conductor, Conductor Pro and Director comparison.
Who actually needs one of these
- Anyone tired of guessing volume levels between sources. Separate banks for master, subwoofer and aux mean you're not fighting one volume control for four different jobs.
- Anyone who's had a system die quietly from a flat or failing battery. Cuore One's live voltage monitoring (250 samples a second, with peak and valley hold) means you actually see a problem developing rather than finding a dead system at start-up.
- Anyone chasing EMMA Ergonomics points. The Ergonomics section of the Sound Quality sheet specifically rewards a properly mounted remote control that's visible and reachable from the driver's seat — see our EMMA Sound Quality scorecard for exactly how that's scored, including why a loose handheld remote is marked down.
Before you buy
Two things worth sorting out first:
- Compatibility. Not every ACO-platform DSP connects the same way — some need an extra cable. Our ATF compatibility explainer covers the SCP vs Control Input distinction and what's confirmed so far.
- Timing. Cuore One is in stock now, but only in very limited numbers, with more expected in late October 2026. If it sells out and you need a remote sooner, Audiotec Fischer's own Conductor, Conductor Pro or Director are established, available now, and covered in the comparison above.
If you're still deciding on the DSP itself rather than the remote, start with our DSP amplifier buying guide or DSP processor buying guide, and once it's installed, our DSP tuning guide walks through getting it set up properly.
Cuore One is an independently developed third-party accessory and is not manufactured, authorised, endorsed, certified, sponsored, supported or affiliated with Audiotec Fischer GmbH.
